Nairobi to Amboseli
Day 1Nairobi to Amboseli Nairobi to Amboseli You will be picked up from either Jomo Kenyatta Airport or your accommodation to begin your journey towards Amboseli National Park. Once you arrive at the camp, you will have lunch and then set out on an afternoon game drive to explore the acacia woodland, freshwater swamps, scrub brush, and open plains to search for wildlife. You will return to the camp during sunset. Amboseli National Park covers an area of 392 square kilometers and is well-known for offering breathtaking panoramic views of Mount Kilimanjaro, the tallest freestanding mountain on earth and in Africa (5895m). Other animals you might spot here include cheetahs, zebras, giraffes, wildebeest, gazelles, hippos, and many others. note- accommodation can be upgraded at an extra cost. Day 2Amboseli Amboseli You have two options for your day at Amboseli Park today. You can leave camp after breakfast, carrying your packed lunch to enjoy in the wild. Spend the entire day exploring Amboseli's marshlands and swamps, then Return to the lodge late in the afternoon after a long day of exploration, If you choose the second option begin with an early morning game drive to see the animals when they are most active. Afterward, return to the lodge for breakfast and lunch. Spend the hottest part of the day relaxing in camp, reading, writing in your journal, or observing the local birds. In the late afternoon, at around 4 pm, head out for another drive through the park. Day 3Amboseli to Ol-Pejeta Amboseli to Ol-Pejeta Today you will have an early breakfast at 6 am, drive North through the fertile highlands of Kenya where a vibrant agricultural economy of tea and coffee is the source of livelihood. You'll stop for lunch en rout to your camp an the famous trout tree hotel and there afeter, stop at the equirtor line for a demonstration between the north and south using the water. you will arrive at your camp in good time and have a free afternoon to relax by the poolside. Day 4Ol Pejeta to Lake Nakuru Ol Pejeta to Lake Nakuru Today after Breakfast, you'll embark on your first early morning game drive this morning to experience this wildlife conservation haven famous for an abundance of black and white rhinos and other herbivores and carnivores that call this place home, You will after that exit The park and head south to lake Nakuru National park arriving late afternoon. Ol Pejeta is a wonderful place for black and white rhinos, the Big Five, and over 500 bird species, all with mountain and savannah views. The conservancy protects the earth's last two surviving northern white rhinos, as well as rescued chimpanzees. We will visit the Sweetwater Chimpanzee Sanctuary, the only one of its kind in Kenya. Here visitors can enjoy the unique opportunity of observing the orphaned chimps. It is also home to the last two of the northern white rhinos that remain in the world. Lake Nakuru to Masai Mara National Reserve
Day 5Lake Nakuru to Masai Mara National Reserve Lake Nakuru to Masai Mara National Reserve After having breakfast, you will begin your first early-morning game drive. Despite the early start, morning game drives are always worth it as you can spot animals when they are most active. It is home to flamingos, black and white rhinos, lions, leopards, buffaloes, and the endangered Rothschild's giraffes. The southern end of the lake is the best place to see wildlife. The forested area below the Rhinos Cliff is a favorite lion-spotting point where lionesses love to sleep in the trees. After the game drive, you will exit the park and drive through the Rift Valley floor to Masai Mara National Reserve. You will stop for lunch on the way to Narok town and then proceed to Masai Mara. On arrival, you will be picked up by the Masai warriors and escorted to a Maasai Village for a cultural experience, where you can learn more about the community that has co-existed with the Mara wildlife for centuries. Note- Your accommodations and vehicle can be upgraded at an extra cost. Day 6Masai Mara Masai Mara You will spend a full day exploring the rich tree-studded grassland and rolling hills of the famous Savanna on a game-viewing tour. The Mara is well-known for its vast herds of plains game animals, such as leopards, cheetahs, lions, and other herbivores. It is home to virtually every other type of wildlife found in Kenya. You will have a picnic lunch under a flat-top acacia tree in the savannah while watching the animals grazing. After that, you will continue with the game-viewing en route to your camp, arriving late in the afternoon after thoroughly exploring this massive grassland savannah that measures 1,500 sq. You can also book a balloon ride early in the morning, which is an optional activity. After landing, the crew will assist you out of the basket and escort you to a lovely setting for a bush breakfast, which is a once-in-a-lifetime experience and worth the price. Later, you can join your driver guide at a location and proceed with your full-day game drive. Day 7Masai Mara to Nairobi Masai Mara to Nairobi After a leisurely morning breakfast, you will check out of your lodge, pack up, and drive back to Nairobi. On the way, you can choose to visit a Maasai Village for a cultural experience, where you'll learn more about the community that has co-existed with the Mara wildlife for centuries. You'll have lunch at one of the hotels in Narok town. Afterward, the journey will continue to Nairobi, arriving in the mid-afternoon. You'll be dropped off at your respective hotel or at the airport, marking the end of your safari. Depending on your homebound flight departure time, you will organize with your driver guide the departure time from Masai Mara.
