Day 1Nairobi - Amboseli National Park Nairobi - Amboseli National Park You will be picked up by our driver from your Nairobi hotel or the airport at 7:00 am for a drive to Amboseli through the scenic Athi plains. Arrive on time for lunch at the Amboseli Sopa Lodge. Leave the lodge at 3:30pm for an afternoon game drive in search of wildlife. Amboseli is known for its large elephant herds and great views of Mount Kilimanjaro, across the border in Tanzania. You can look forward to an entertaining afternoon. Day 2Amboseli National Park Amboseli National Park Have an early breakfast at the lodge and leave for a full day game drive with package picnic lunch. Amboseli national park is one of the best wildlife viewing areas known for its herds of elephants that graze against the back drop of Mt. Kilimanjaro. The large mammal community comprised a broad spectrum of carnivores and herbivores from the Cape buffalo, Masai giraffe, zebras, wildebeest, gazelles, lion, cheetah, spotted hyena, jackals among others. The park has a over 400 species of birds including; pelicans, kingfishers, crakes, hamerkop and 47 raptor species. You can look forward to an entertaining day in this park. Day 3Amboseli National Park -Lake Naivasha Amboseli National Park -Lake Naivasha Wake up at first light, have breakfast and leave Amboseli National Park for Lake Naivasha with a stopover at the Rift Valley viewpoint. Arrive at the Lake Naivasha Sopa Resort in time for lunch. After lunch you can choose to stay at the lodge or engage in optional activities such as boat ride to explore the lake, walking safari at the Crescent Island or a biking experience at the Hell' Gate National Park. Day 4Lake Naivasha - Masai Mara National Reserve Lake Naivasha - Masai Mara National Reserve Leave Lake Naivasha after breakfast for a long and easy drive to Masai Mara arriving in time for lunch at the Masai Mara Sopa Lodge. The reserve is well known for its black-manned lion, as well as its abundant resident wildlife. It's one of the few places where it's possible to see the Big Five during a morning's game drive. Many of the cheetahs are so tame that they seek shelter from the hot sun under one's vehicle and several even climb onto the roof to get a better view of prospective prey. For the bird enthusiast, almost 500 species have been recorded: among these 16 species of eagle, many hawks and falcons, 6 species of vultures, 8 species of storks 4 of bustard (including the kori bustard, the world's heaviest flying bird), and 9 species of sunbirds.
