You will then visit the Kigali Genocide Memorial Center. Then, you'll proceed to Ruhengeri Town driving for 2 hours and 30 min for lunch. Afterward, you will check in at your lodge. After check-in, you will visit the Ellen DeGeneres Campus of the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund center in Kinigi. Afterward, you will relax at your lodge as you prepare for the next day's activities. The activity can last as much as 6 hours or as short as 3 hours. After the tracking experience, you will proceed to the Rwanda-Uganda border crossing town of Chanika and do the immigration process. Afterward, you'll check in at your lodge near Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in Uganda. The activity can last as much as 8 hours or as short as 3 hours depending on the gorilla family allocated to you. Golden trekking requires a minimum level of fitness. Gorilla permits are very limited and must be booked very early in advance. You'll get a chance to pass through the mighty Queen Elizabeth National Park with the chance to see some animals along the way. Lunch will be en route. You will arrive early evening and opt to do some of the optional activities as will be highlighted by your guide.
