Day 2Canoe Safari or Fishing Canoe Safari or Fishing Choose 1 activity Fishing or Canoeing Half Day Fishing includes 10 litres of fuel Fishing excursion in allocated areas within the Game Management Area. Guests can try their hand at catching the unique species of fish in the Lower Zambezi such as the sought-after Tiger Fish or the African Pike. You will be liable for lost tackle. Canoeing Our 3-hour canoe safari departs after breakfast at 9:00 a.m. to the top of the Island in front of Kiambi Lower Zambezi, by power boat. From the top of the island, you will canoe on the southern side of the island to the lower point of the island and this side has good game viewing. You are then returned back to Kiambi by a power boat. Subject to safety conditions. Complimentary - Village Walk/Banana Farm Tour Within the Chiawa area around the lodge, guests can try amore local experience with a village walk or banana farm tour where guests can immerse themselves in the local culture and meet residents of the Zambezi who live in the area. Day 3Game Drive in Lower Zambezi National Park Game Drive in Lower Zambezi National Park Full-day game drives in the park are available in the dry season, in the wet season we swap this for a canoe safari. Game drives into the Lower Zambezi National Park allow you to see all the wildlife the park has to offer, from the animals that reside by the river to the animals that prefer dry land. You will depart from the lodge at first light via boat allowing you a more comfortable trip down to the LZNP park. We have our game drive vehicle stationed close to the park gate allowing you the opportunity to experience the GMA by boat / LZNP by vehicle. Packed breakfast/lunch are included.
