After a heavy breakfast, you will drive for about 6 minutes to the park headquarters for briefing, which usually starts with a traditional dance and a general briefing. Afterward, you will be distributed into groups of 8 people per group. Families are allocated at this point, the trekking time depends on where the gorilla family allocated to you is located. The trek usually takes 4 hours or sometimes 8 hours in total. Viewing time with gorillas is strictly one hour. A face mask is a must. Afterward, you'll return to your lodge and relax.
