Day 1Flying from Zanzibar to Arusha -Tarangire National Park Flying from Zanzibar to Arusha -Tarangire National Park After breakfast at your accommodation in Zanzibar, our driver-guide will pick you up and drive to Zanzibar Airport for your flight to Arusha Airport. Upon Arrival at Arusha Airport, you will meet with our driver-guide after a short briefing for your safari. He will pick you up and start a magical Journey to Tarangire National Park, one of Africa’s little-known gems. It should be on the itinerary of all lovers of wilderness and Nature. Tarangire’s landscape is incredibly diverse. It is dotted with ancient baobab trees and large termite mounds. The dry season sees the harsh sun suck the moisture from the landscape, baking the earth a dusty red, while the wet season brings dense bush and luscious high grasses. Famous for its large elephant population, it is also home to zebras, wildebeests, giraffes, waterbucks, baboons, dwarf mongoose, impalas, buffaloes, antelopes, and fringe-eared oryx. Predators include lions, cheetahs, and leopards. Day 2Ngorongoro crater to Arusha - Zanzibar Ngorongoro crater to Arusha - Zanzibar After breakfast, you'll depart for Ngorongoro Conservation Area for a game drive inside Ngorongoro Crater while carrying lunch boxes. The Ngorongoro Crater offers Africa’s finest wildlife viewing, with a year-round water supply sustaining an exceptional concentration of wildlife. Descending 610 meters into this natural wonder, your safari begins with sightings of the endangered black rhino, wildebeest, buffalo, zebra, eland, and gazelles. Towering elephants, lions, leopards, and cheetahs thrive here, alongside scavengers like hyenas, jackals, and wild dogs. With over 500 recorded bird species, the Ngorongoro Conservation Area is a true haven for both wildlife enthusiasts and bird watchers. Once you finish the game drive, we will drive back to Arusha Airport for your flight back to Zanzibar.
