Day 7Full Day at Kibale National Park Full Day at Kibale National Park After breakfast, we will visit Kibale Forest National Park. The park boasts the highest number of primate species in the world, including chimpanzees with approximately 5,000 chimps living in the wild in Uganda. The park is most famous of its 13 species of primates. It is also home to species like the rare I’Hoest’s monkey, the black and white Colobus, the blue monkey, the grey-cheeked mangabey, red tailed monkey and the olive baboon among others. The walk takes 2-3 hours. After lunch, go for a Bigodi Swamp walk where you may see a variety of bird species and other smaller mammals. Day 8Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park You will depart for Queen Elizabeth National Park in the morning and you’ll spot the ranges of Mount Rwenzori en route. On arrival, you will embark on game drives in the park where you will spot some animals like elephants, buffaloes, bushbucks, Uganda kob, antelopes, and warthogs among others. After lunch, enjoy the unique 2-hour boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel. It is a 42km channel that joins Lake Edward and Lake George. The boat ride offers an excellent platform for photography along which you will encounter several hippos, crocodiles, elephants and over 500 bird species.
