Day 3Transfer to North Serengeti National Park Transfer to North Serengeti National Park After breakfast, transfer to North Serengeti National park. The great migration is supposed to be in this area from late July to mid-September crossing the famous Mara River to Masai Mara National Reserve in Kenya and back to Serengeti. You will have a high opportunity to see them crossing while the crocodiles in the river attack them. The North Serengeti has also lots of big cats, elephants, giraffes, impalas, and hippos. It is another good place to see the endangered black rhinos. You will return to the lodge after for dinner and an overnight stay. The Serengeti is the habitat for an abundance of wildlife, such as impalas, buffalo, crocodiles and hippos, but is more well-known for its great migrating herds of zebras and wildebeest. You might have the chance to see predators, such as leopards, cheetahs and lions. You will return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight stay. After you will proceed to Ngorongoro crater, the 8th wonder of the Natural World. The crater spreads for 102 sq. miles and has 2.000 ft high walls, making it virtually a Noah's ark and inhabiting almost every species of wildlife that is indigenous to East Africa. It's one of the very rare locations in the whole continent where you can witness the black Rhino. The crater has a river, several swamps, a soda lake with a great concentration of flamingos, a forest and open plains. It's also famous for its elephants which, are the largest in the world and have huge tusks. On arrival, you will have game drives in the park and after be taken to your lodge for relaxation on as you await your dinner.
