Sipi is one of Uganda's hidden gems. You'll have a stopover in Mbale for lunch. You'll proceed to the lodge. From your lodge, you’ll have breathtaking views of the falls as the Sipi River flows down from Mount Elgon. This afternoon, you will have a guided Sipi Falls hike to the falls. You'll visit coffee plantations, giving you a chance to learn how coffee is processed with coffee tasting. You will drive to check in at the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay. Day 2Transfer to Moroto Transfer to Moroto You'll have an early breakfast after driving for approximately six hours to Moroto Town in the northeast region of Uganda, where you’ll meet the Karamojong people. You'll continue to the foothills of Mount Moroto. You'll go for an authentic Karamojong cultural tour, experience their local livelihoods. You'll return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay. The drive is breathtaking and offers incredible views of the countryside as you approach the Karamoja region. You will have lunch. Upon arrival, you'll enjoy a scenic drive to the lodge, viewing animals like elephants, buffalo, zebras, and several bird species. You will pass through the famous Kitgum Triangle and have a stopover in Gulu for lunch. You'll arrive at Murchison Falls in the evening for check-in at the lodge, visit the top of the falls, then return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay. Then, you'll have a 3-hour launch cruise on the River Nile where you will spot several wildlife species along the banks, such as African elephants, hippos, Nile crocodiles, antelopes, monkeys, and water bird species. You'll ride towards the bottom of the falls. After visiting the top of the falls, you will return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay. You'll have a game drive that offers the chance to see a variety of animal species in their native environment. You will be spotting various wildlife species like waterbucks, lions, African elephants, hartebeests, Rothschild’s giraffes, antelopes, cape buffaloes, leopards, and warthogs, and also view different crater lakes. After the 3-hour drive, you will transfer back for lunch. Then, you will prepare for the afternoon 2-hour launch cruise along the Kazinga Channel, which has the highest concentration of hippos in the world. This comes along with several bird species and animals like Nile crocodiles, African elephants, and antelopes, among others. You'll have a game drive as you return to the lodge.
