Spend the whole day exploring the marshlands and swamps of Amboseli, which are fed by subterranean water channels. Water is abundant throughout the year, as is the pasture. Elephants and various other herbivores can be found here. After a long day of exploration in this 392 km² park, you will return to the lodge late in the afternoon. Alternatively, you can start the day with an early morning game drive to search for animals when they are most active. Then return to the lodge for a relaxed breakfast and lunch. During the hottest part of the day, take some time to relax in camp. You can read your favorite book, write in your journal about the safari, or listen to your favorite music while observing the birds. Don’t worry; the animals will be resting too! In the afternoon, head out again at 16:00 for another drive through the park. Return to the lodge at sunset for dinner and overnight. You can choose to cycle, walk, or drive through the park, as it is one of the few national parks that permit these activities. Following this adventure, enjoy lunch before setting off for Lake Nakuru. You will arrive in the late afternoon and have a game drive on your way to your lodge, which is located within the park. Following the game drive, you will exit the park and return to the lodge for lunch (you can choose to carry picnic lunch boxes if you prefer).
