Day 2Volcanoes National Park Volcanoes National Park Following breakfast, please meet at the RDB office at 7:00 am. Your guide will provide comments and instructions for the gorilla trekking experience, and you'll also receive a briefing from the Volcanoes National Park guides. To ensure your full enjoyment of the trek, we encourage you to be in good physical condition. Please remember to bring sturdy hiking boots, long trousers, gloves (to protect against stinging nettles), snacks, and plenty of drinking water, as the weather can become hot and humid. The time you spend with the gorillas will be an unforgettable hour. You'll return to your hotel for lunch later in the afternoon, and then enjoy dinner and your overnight stay. Day 3Golden Monkey Trekking Golden Monkey Trekking Your third day will include a golden monkey trek in Volcanoes National Park, where you'll also have the chance to see the park's volcanoes. Afterward, you'll return to the hotel for lunch and then travel to Gisenyi to visit the Twin Lakes of Burera and Ruhondo. Your day will conclude with dinner and an overnight stay at the Kivu Serena Hotel.
