From 16h00 up to sunset, you will do a boat safari tour on the Rufiji River, the biggest and longest river in Tanzania. It is approximately 600 kilometers (370 miles) long. Its source is in Southwestern Tanzania and its mouth is on the opposite side of the Indian Ocean. The river has many attractions including crocodiles, hippos, river cliffs, birds, and more. Day 2Full-day Game Drive Full-day Game Drive After breakfast, you will do a full-day game drive from 07h30 until the evening in Nyerere National Park (formerly known as Selous Game Reserve). The journey will start from the lodge or camp where you will be picked up by our professional driver and guide. Today, you will get to enjoy various tourist attractions like spotting wildlife including elephant, zebra, giraffe, antelope and more. You will also see birds and other landscape scenery with varied topography including wetlands, dry grassland, light acacia forest, and higher ground with vast views of far-off mountains. In the afternoon, you will get a packed lunch and some time to rest, then continue with the game drive until sunset. Return to the camp or lodge for dinner and overnight.
