Day 1Nairobi to Tsavo West National Park Nairobi to Tsavo West National Park After breakfast, we will pick you up from your hotel in Nairobi, from where you will depart to Tsavo West National Park. You will arrive at the Ziwani Tented Camp for lunch. You can relax in the afternoon or take a walk through the camp. After dinner, you can join a night game drive before returning to the lodge for your overnight stay. Tsavo West National Park is one of the largest conservation areas on earth. Here you can observe abundant wildlife, such as the Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino), while on day trips in the park. In addition, Tsavo West National Park is known for its herds of elephants. These elephants often appear red due to wallowing in the red-colored dirt. Here, at Voyager Ziwani, you will stay in elegant tented suites and dine on superb cuisine. Day 2Tsavo West National Park to Amboseli National Park Tsavo West National Park to Amboseli National Park After an early morning game drive, you will depart for Amboseli National Park, where you will enjoy lunch. The drive will take you through the town of Loitoktok. An afternoon game drive will follow with incredible scenes of the domineering Mount Kilimanjaro. Chances are good that you will see animals here at Amboseli National Park that you did not see at Tsavo West National Park. Finally, you will have dinner and stay overnight at Oltukai lodge. Amboseli National Park, also known as the “home of the African elephant,” is crowned by Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest mountain peak. Amboseli National Park is one of Kenya’s most famous national parks. The name “Amboseli” comes from a Maasai word meaning “salty dust.” It is one of the best places in Africa to view large herds of elephants up close. Nature lovers can explore different ecosystems here, ranging from the dried-up bed of Lake Amboseli, to wetlands with sulfur springs, the savannah, and woodlands.
