Day 1Murchison Falls National Park Murchison Falls National Park After eating breakfast, you will head north at 7:00am through the Luweero and Masindi districts, passing through traditional farms and villages along the way. You will make a stop at the Ziwa Ranch Rhino Sanctuary for some rhino tracking before heading to Masindi town for lunch and re-fueling. Upon arrival at Murchison Falls National Park, you will head straight forthe majestic falls, where you will tour around both the fall's top and its base. Here the Nile River crashes through a seven-meter gorge before falling forty-five meters. The foaming waters create a deafening roar and make for an impressive view. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the Parkside Safari Lodge. Day 2Murchison Falls National Park Murchison Falls National Park You will wake up very early and set off at 6:30am for a sunrise game drive in the Nyamsika plateau. You will see Cape buffalo, Rothschild’s giraffe, Uganda kob, hartebeest and waterbuck. You may also spot oribi, bushbuck, Bohor reedbuck, shy sitatunga, bush duiker, warthog, and bush pig, plus large carnivores including lions, leopards, and spotted hyenas. Crocodiles and hippos can be seen along the banks of the Nile. Some of the more common birds that can be found include goliath heron, Egyptian geese, pelican, kingfishers, hornbill, saddle-bill stork, and the rare shoebill stork. After lunch you will go on an afternoon boat cruise along the Nile, journeying upstream to the base of the falls. En route you will see hippos, crocodiles, water buck, and a wide variety of birds — including the unusual shoebill stork. The boat stops just tens of meters from the “Devil’s Cauldron” so you can take pictures of the majestic Murchison Falls. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the lodge. Entebbe
Day 3Entebbe Entebbe After breakfast we will drive to the top of the thunderous Murchison Falls, where you will enjoy the spectacular view one last time before proceeding to Kampala. Afte eating lunch you will make your way to Entebbe, where you will then board your flight back home. We hope you enjoyed your memorable experiences at the great Murchison Falls!
