Nairobi to Amboseli National Park
Day 1Nairobi to Amboseli National Park Nairobi to Amboseli National Park On the first day of your safari, your guide and driver will meet and greet you upon your arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport or pick you up from your hotel at 7:30am. You will then leave the bustling city of Nairobi and head south to Amboseli National Park, at the foot of the snowcapped Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest peak. The drive will take approximately four to five hours using 4WD pop up roof Minivan. Upon arrival at Kibo Safari Camp, you will have lunch and some leisure time. Later in the afternoon, you will embark on a two-hour evening game drive within the beautiful Amboseli National Park. During the game drive, you will have the opportunity to spot a variety of animals, such as zebras, herds of elephants, wildebeest, giraffes, and hippos, all set against the backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro. After the game drive, you will return to the camp for dinner and spend the night there. Meal plan: Lunch, dinner & water. Accommodation: Kibo Safari Camp. Amboseli National Park
Day 2Amboseli National Park Amboseli National Park Wake up to the noisy calls of the birds and beautiful views of the snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro. After an early breakfast, drive through the bush into Amboseli National Park for a full morning of game viewing in the diverse reserve. Interact with the giant elephants of Amboseli National Park, observe the big cats, and see bird species such as lesser and greater flamingos. At the viewpoint, enjoy a panoramic view of the park while watching elephants and hippos grazing. After lunch, you will go for an afternoon game drive to end your adventure, search for the elusive Big Five of Amboseli, and visit Lake Amboseli. Have dinner and stay overnight at the camp. Day 3Amboseli National Park to Nairobi Amboseli National Park to Nairobi On your last day, you will have breakfast and check out to enjoy the final sights of this beautiful destination. Then, you will prepare to drive back to Nairobi and visit the Masai village (an optional activity). Later, you will arrive in Nairobi and check in at your hotel to rest before flying back home. In the Masai village, you can observe various unique local practices, cultures, and norms, such as traditional dress, bead and ornament making, traditional songs and dances, and more. Meals provided: Breakfast & water.
