Day 1Travel to Kibale Forest National Park Travel to Kibale Forest National Park We will depart from you' Hotel in Kampala or Entebbe and head westwards to Fort Portal town. The drive will take about 4 -5 hours. We will have lunch in Fort Portal and continue to Kibale where you will go for either a community walk or visit the beautiful Crater lakes region for a spectacular view. Dinner and overnight will be at your reserved lodge. Day 2Chimp tracking and transfer to Queen Elizabeth NP Chimp tracking and transfer to Queen Elizabeth NP After breakfast you will report at the Kanyanchu Tourist Centre at 08.00 am for a briefing before trekking the chimps in the forest. The park is only accessible on foot and the walk will provide you with the opportunity to also see a variety of other primates and animals as well as birds, and a variety of butterflies, and other insects. You will transfer to Queen Elizabeth National park, In the afternoon you will take a launch cruise along the amazing Kazinga channel to see, at close range, the water animals to include Hippos, Buffalos, Crocodiles and elephants bathing on the channel banks. There is also a variety of bird species on the water banks especially the famous Shoebill, pelican and Jacana. Dinner and overnight will be at Tembo Safari Lodge. Drive out of the park and start the return journey to Kampala via Mbarara where you will stop for lunch at the Equator and proceed to Entebbe.
