Day 1Nairobi to Amboseli National Park Nairobi to Amboseli National Park On this first day of your safari, the driver will meet and greet you on arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport or pick you up at your hotel at 7:30 am and brief you about the itinerary of your safari. You'll leave the buzzing city of Nairobi, and drive using 4WD Minivan pop-up roof vehicle south to Amboseli National Park located at the foot of snowcapped Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest peak which is a drive of approximately 4-5 hours. You'll arrive at Amboseli Sopa Lodge in time for lunch, relax at leisure, and later embark on a 2-hour evening game drive in the beautiful Amboseli National Park. Day 2Amboseli National Park Amboseli National Park You will wake up to the noisy calls of the birds and beautiful views of the ice-capped Mount Kilimanjaro. After an early breakfast, you'll drive through the bush into Amboseli National Park, for a full morning of game viewing in the adverse reserve of Amboseli. You will get a chance to interact with the giant elephants of Amboseli National Park, the big cats, and bird species such as the lesser and greater flamingos. You'll enjoy a spanning view of Amboseli National Park from the viewpoint as you enjoy elephants and hippos grazing. After lunch, you will go for an afternoon game drive to climax your adventure and find the elusive Big Five of Amboseli as well as visit Lake Amboseli. After visiting the Masai local people (optional), in the Masai community you will witness various unique local practices, culture, and norms such as their way of dressing, beads and ornaments making, traditional songs and dances among others.
