Tarangire National Park
Day 1Tarangire National Park Tarangire National Park After breakfast at 07:30 am, we pick you up from your hotel in Arusha/Moshi at 08:00 am and drive 120km on a tarmac road to Tarangire National Park. We can explore the 2,850 sq km (1,005 sq miles) park on game drives. We will have a picnic lunch, thereafter we continue with afternoon game viewing. The park is home to lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, python, zebra, oryx impala and many more. Over 450 species of birds have been observed here. Our dinner and overnight stay will be at the camp/lodge. Ngorongoro Crater
Day 2Ngorongoro Crater Ngorongoro Crater After breakfast, you will drive to the Ngorongoro Crater. On the eastern side, you will see the Great Rift Valley where animals like elephant, buffalo, zebra, monkey, and a variety of birds can be observed. From this vantage point, you can also see the rim crater. The mass concentration of wild animals you will see from the rim can also be found inside the huge crater of Ngorongoro. This is undoubtedly the best place to see black rhino, as well as the prides of lion that include the magnificent black-maned males. Thousands of colorful flamingoes and a variety of waterbirds can be seen along the lakeshore or filling the skies as they take flight. Predators such as leopard, cheetah, hyena, and lots of members of the antelope family, as well as other small mammals, can also be found. In the late afternoon, you will leave the crater and drive back to Moshi or Arusha. This is where your safari will end.
