Day 1 Spanning an area of roughly 14 650km², the Hwange National Park is the largest and oldest game reserve in Zimbabwe. You will be picked up by 5:00 am at your hotel for a 3-hour drive through Hwange, a rustic and charming town dotted with villages within a rural African landscape. Upon arrival at Hwange Main Camp, you will be transferred to an open game drive vehicle and escape to some amazing game viewing sites of Zimbabwe. The park has been molded by the hooves of over 100 species of mammals, and trees that are home to over 300 species of birds. After the morning game drive, you will then be served a picnic lunch by your guide. Later, you will continue to wander the park exploring Africa's greatest nature.
