Nairobi - Aberdare National Park
Day 1Nairobi - Aberdare National Park Nairobi - Aberdare National Park You will be picked up from your Nairobi hotel or the airport at 7:00 am and leave for Aberdare National Park. You'll arrive in time for lunch at the Aberdare Country Club after which you will proceed to the Ark Lodge. Picturesque, steep forested ravines and open moorland characterize the Aberdare National Park. This park provides a habitat for elephants, black rhinos, leopards, spotted hyenas, olive baboons, black and white Colobus monkeys, buffalos, warthogs and bushbucks among others. Rare sightings include those of the giant forest hog, bongo, golden cat, serval cat, African wild cat, African civet cat and the blue duiker. You'll indulge in picnics, trout fishing in the rivers and camping in the moorlands. Bird viewing is rewarding, with over 250 species of birds in the park, including Jackson's francolin, sparrow hawks, goshawks, eagles, sunbirds and plovers. Day 2Aberdare National Park - Lake Nakuru National Park Aberdare National Park - Lake Nakuru National Park After breakfast at the lodge, you will be transferred to the base hotel where your guide will pick you up and leave for Lake Nakuru National Park crossing the equator along the way with a stop over at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint. You will arrive in time for lunch at the Flamingo Hill Camp. After lunch, you will have an afternoon game drive in search of the big game. You can look forward to an entertaining afternoon in this great park. Lake Nakuru - Masai Mara National Reserve
Day 3Lake Nakuru - Masai Mara National Reserve Lake Nakuru - Masai Mara National Reserve You'll wake up at first light, have breakfast and later checkout. You'll enjoy a short morning game drive in search of big game as you exit the park. You will drive to Masai Mara arriving at the Enkorok Mara Camp in time for lunch. After lunch, you'll relax till 4:00 pm. You will leave the camp for an evening game drive till 6:30 pm. Masai Mara is renowned for the spectacular great migration that takes place from July through October. Nevertheless, it is an all-year-round destination that never disappoints. You can spot all of the Big Five (lion, leopard, rhino, elephant and cape buffalo) at any time of the year. Day 4Masai Mara National Reserve Masai Mara National Reserve You will have breakfast at 6:30 am and leave the lodge at 7:00 am with your packed picnic lunch. You will enjoy a full-day game drive in search of animals in this park. Among the animals, you can look forward to seeing include the Masai giraffes, lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, hippos, crocodiles, Thompson's gazelles, Grant's gazelles, impalas, topis, zebras, wildebeests, warthogs, hyenas, dik-diks, klipspringers, waterbucks, bushbucks, Coke's hartebeests, black rhinos, elands, baboons, foxes and jackals. There are also numerous bird species including ostriches, cormorants, grebes, storks, falcons, and bastards among others.
