Day 2Samburu National Reserve Samburu National Reserve Dawn breaks in golden bands as we start our day in the bush by scanning the surroundings from our lodge's veranda with a cup of steaming coffee in hand. Before the dew is off the grass, we're off in pursuit of the elephants, lions, leopards, and cheetahs that thrive in the reserve's grasslands and acacia woodlands. The day is spent in alternating pursuits of exploration in the bush and relaxation in the lodge. Day 3Samburu - Lake Nakuru National Park Samburu - Lake Nakuru National Park Wake up at first light, have breakfast followed by checkout and enjoy a short morning game drive as you exit the park. Leave Samburu National Reserve for Lake Nakuru National Park with lunch en-route. In the evening, the game drive starts at 3:00 pm till dusk when you get to see the big game which are residents and lots of bird species.
