Day 1Nairobi - Mount Suswa Nairobi - Mount Suswa You'll leave Nairobi early morning heading to Mt Suswa via the Maai Mahiu route with a stopover at the Rift Valley viewpoint. Depart Nairobi early (around 6:00 a.m.) and drive towards Suswa Conservancy via Mai Mahiu (~2.5 hours). Meet local Maasai guide at Suswa gate, begin ascent. Hike up the outer crater with panoramic views of the Rift Valley and Mt. Longonot in the distance. Explore the Suswa Lava Caves — home to unique rock formations and bats. Picnic lunch near the crater rim. Descend and enjoy cultural interaction with local Maasai community (optional). Day 2Mount Longonot National Park Hike Mount Longonot National Park Hike After breakfast, transfer to Mt. Longonot National Park. Start your climb around 8:00 a.m. — the ascent to the rim takes about 1.5–2 hours. Optional: hike around the crater rim (2–3 additional hours) for 360° views of the Rift Valley and Lake Naivasha. Afternoon, descend, and head to hotel for lunch and relaxation. Hell's Gate National Park
Day 3Hell's Gate National Park Hell's Gate National Park You'll leave the camp after breakfast for the walk to Hell's Gate National Park. The park is characterized by nature trails, picnic sites, and two loop circuits around the park offering a variety of scenic sites and wildlife viewing opportunities. Hell’s Gate National Park — unique for hiking, cycling, and rock formations. Choose between cycling safari (hire bikes at the gate) or walking safari. See the Fischer’s Tower, Central Tower, and Obsidian Caves. Guided hike through the Hell’s Gate Gorge (check weather — gorge may close after heavy rains). Visit nearby Geothermal Spa for a relaxing soak (optional).
