Nairobi - Masai Mara
Day 1Nairobi - Masai Mara Nairobi - Masai Mara You will be picked up from the airport or your hotel in Nairobi at 07h00 and then head south. Stop at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint (referred to as the escarpment) and then head further south into the Masai Mara, arriving at the Enkorok Camp in time for lunch. You will then get ready for your afternoon game drive, which will take place from 16h00 to 18h30. You can see all of the “Big Five” (rhino, lion, leopard, buffalo and elephant) in this wonderful game reserve. Other popular animals include zebra, hippo, wildebeest, hyena and more. After the game drive, you will return to the camp for dinner and your overnight stay. Day 2Masai Mara National Reserve Masai Mara National Reserve Have breakfast at 06h30 and then make your way into the park with a picnic lunch in hand at 07h00. You will spend the entire day exploring the reserve in search of the Big Five. Over 450 species of birds have been recorded here. You should keep an eye out for rhino, leopard, elephant, buffalo, wildebeest, zebra, warthog, jackal, lion, many types of antelope, crocodile and giraffe. Whether you are a game lover or an ornithologist, the Mara never disappoints! You will enjoy your picnic lunch along the banks of the Mara River. Return to the camp in the evening for dinner and your overnight stay. Day 3Masai Mara Masai Mara After an early breakfast at the camp, proceed for a full-day game drive with a packed lunch. During the game drive, you will enjoy views of various wildlife such as lions, cheetahs, elephants, wildebeests, gazelles, and more than 300 bird species. After the full-day game drive, you will return to the camp for dinner and your overnight stay. Some of the extra activities that you might be interested in during this day include a hot air balloon ride at $450 per person or a visit to a Maasai village to learn about their culture at $20 per person.
