Day 1Nairobi To Masai Mara National Reserve Nairobi To Masai Mara National Reserve On day one of your safari to the Masai Mara National Reserve, you will be picked up early in the morning from the airport (as per your flight time), your hotel, or your apartment within Nairobi city using 4WD Minivan. Upon arrival, our professional driver-guide will welcome you, brief you about the safari, and take you to your exclusive safari vehicle. The game drive begins en route to the Great Rift Valley viewpoint. From there, head straight to Narok town, where we will stop for a few minutes for last-minute shopping and a bathroom break. On arrival at Masai Mara, we check in at the lodge. You will have time to enjoy lunch, relax, and head out for an afternoon game drive. You will have covered a lot of ground by noon time, which will be the ideal time to enjoy your picnic lunch at the reserve and, later, depart on the afternoon game drive. Masai Mara is home to lions, giraffes, elephants, cheetahs, hippos, zebras, leopards, gazelles, hyenas, and different bird species.
