Thereafter, you'll drive to Musanze, the home of mountain gorillas. On your way, you will have time to discover, view Rwandan landscapes. On arrival, you will check in and relax, enjoying the lodge's amenities. Later in the afternoon, you will visit the Ellen DeGeneres campus of Dian Fossey. This place is full of her stories and research work, and interesting Gorilla conservation stories. You'll retire and return to the lodge. You'll spend the evening at leisure, having dinner and resting. Then, you'll proceed to the home of mountain Gorillas, the Volcanoes National Park headquarters – Kinigi to meet your guides for the day. After completing park formalities, you'll embark on a once in a life time experience of trekking mountain gorillas. Once you spot them, you are allowed to spend an hour watching them closely do their daily activities. After your experiences, you will then be transferred back to Kigali with a drop off at your hotel/residence or proceed with a last-minute souvenir shopping in the city. Depending on your flight details, you'll be driven to the Kigali International Airport for your outbound flight back home. See you on your next visit.
