Day 1Your Adventure Begins Your Adventure Begins Your adventure begins early, with pickup from Johannesburg between 5:30am and 6:30am in a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle. By 9:00am, you will arrive at Pilanesberg Game Reserve and set out on a thrilling 3-hour morning game drive in an open safari vehicle, your first opportunity to spot the Big Five and other incredible wildlife. At midday, you will check in to the beautiful Bakubung Bush Lodge, where a delicious lunch awaits. Afterward, take time to relax, admire the sweeping views, or enjoy a refreshing swim in the pool. In the late afternoon, depart on an unforgettable sunset game drive from 4:00pm to 7:00pm, capturing the vibrant colours of the African sky and memorable wildlife encounters. Day 2Enjoy the Final Day on Safari Enjoy the Final Day on Safari Rise early for a final 3-hour morning game drive in an open safari vehicle, departing at 5:30am. After returning to Bakubung Bush Lodge around 9:00am, enjoy a generous breakfast and take some time to relax. You may unwind by the swimming pool or make use of the other lodge facilities before departure. At midday, you have the option of joining a short closed-vehicle game drive for one last taste of the wild or simply continuing to relax at the lodge. If you choose to skip the drive, pickup will take place at 2:30pm. By 3:00pm, you will depart Pilanesberg for Johannesburg, with a comfort stop en route for refreshments. Expect to arrive between 5:30pm and 6:30pm. For airport transfers, be sure to provide your flight details in advance to ensure arrival by 6:00pm.
