Day 1Livingstone Livingstone You will arrive in Livingstone and transfer to Maramba River Lodge. After arrival, you might visit the mighty Victoria Falls. The day is at your leisure —there are plenty of activities to choose from: white water rafting, rhino trekking, sunset cruise, helicopter flight, and visit to the Falls — the choice is yours (activities not included). Your overnight stay will be at Maramba River Lodge in en-suite Safari Tents. Mazabuka

Day 2Mazabuka Mazabuka Today we drive to Mazabuka, the ‘sweetest town’ in Zambia, where sugar cane is grown on big farms. We stay overnight on a game farm, where also the highly endangered White Rhinos roam freely. In the afternoon we can do a short drive and hopefully we will see one of those ancient looking creatures. Overnight at Makuku Game Farm in en-suite Safari Tents. (FB). Transfer to Lower Zambezi National Park

Day 3Transfer to Lower Zambezi National Park Transfer to Lower Zambezi National Park This day will be a long day of driving. You will arrive at Kasaka River Lodge near the Lower Zambezi National Park in the late afternoon. The lodge is situated on the banks of the Zambezi River, you will hear the grunting of the hippos throughout the night. Your overnight stay will be in safari tents at Kasaka River Lodge. Day 6Lusaka Lusaka After packing up, You'll drive up the escarpment to Lusaka where you can do some shopping for the next days in the bush. You'll stay overnight in chalets at a comfortable lodge close to Lusaka (Hanlo Estate, Pioneer Camp, or Wilddog Lodge). Dinner in a restaurant. (B/L/-). Chipata

Day 7Chipata Chipata En route to Chipata, you will drive through a beautiful mountainous landscape and stop at Luangwa Bridge, a thriving market, where all kinds of baskets and mats as well as hand-carved items are offered. You'll stay overnight in modern rooms at Protea Hotel (B/L/-). Main Destination: Chipata (City) Accommodation: Protea Hotel Chipata Mid-range hotel located in Chipata (City) +5 Photos +4 Photos Meals & Drinks: Breakfast & lunch (Dinner not included) Drinking water (Other drinks not included) Day 8-11South Luangwa National Park South Luangwa National Park South Luangwa National Park is known for its abundance of African wildlife: Thorneycroft’s giraffe, Cookson’s Gnu, Crawshay’s zebra, leopards, lions, and big herds of buffalos and elephants. Game drives along the Luangwa River often produce spectacular sightings. Hippo families occur in high numbers in the river, unequaled in Africa. During the dry season (July to October), many side channels of the river dry up, leaving the fish trapped. This attracts many different species of predators, such as the African fish eagle, jackal, and hyena, to mention but a few. The colorful Carmine bee-eaters are often seen perching in front of their nests in the riverbanks. Your overnight stay will be at Wildlife Camp or Marula Lodge.
